DOZZY COUTURE ROCKS AFRICA FASHION WEEK NIGERIA 2016

Dozzy Couture is the fashion label of Dozzy Nnamdi Obinwanne; a creative and talented fashion designer living in Lagos. A graduate of Geology and Mining from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo state.

His love for his roots made him a true African. His exquisite pieces for men create the highlight of the true African while keeping the trend in place. His dexterity for finishing in Senator Attire, kaftans, casuals, Etibor(Niger Delta jumper and trousers), African styled patterns are his definitive trademark of the fashion line.

A certified fashion designer from the International Association of Professions Career College, Canada. Dozzy is the current Assistant National Publicity Secretary of Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN)

He also doubles as a Visual Artist/Creative Designer at the Tailoring Unit, Arts and Craft Department, National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) Lagos Zonal Office; a unit formed due to his creative ideas and designs.

LAGOS REGGAE FESTIVAL 2016

Come 29th of May 2016, CONSCIOUS VIBES AFRICA will celebrate the first ever ‘LAGOS REGGAE FESTIVAL’ in grand style at the dedicatory Freedom Park(Old Colonial Prison Yard), No 1, Broad street/Hospital Road, Lagos Island, Lagos.

'LAGOS REGGAE FESTIVAL' will be held a few days after the launch of the ‘LAGOS AT 50’ celebrations; placing it in the Lagos State celebration fiesta mood.

The event is designed to hold annually; congregating all Nigerian reggae artists, fans and lovers together to celebrate reggae music in Nigeria.

According to Akintunde Blazee, Creative Director, CVA, "The target audience falls between the ages of six and above; with thrilling side attractions for families, lovers and ardent reggae fans; living them enthralled with unforgotten experience". He also went further to say "The festival will welcome lots of reggae enthusiasts, foreigners and diverse ethnicity to the venue, where the atmosphere is perfect. The first ever ‘LAGOS REGGAE FESTIVAL’ is an entertainment event any reggae lover would not dare to miss".
