born Ghanaian superstar actress and philanthropist, popularly known and
referred to as Haillie Sumney; has found her next big project, and reportedly
signed up for her next acting role in Lost In Africa, a film script complexly
crafted and screenplay by Austin Okiemute.

Haillie,
referred to as the Ghana Goddess, is currently one of the most sought-after
faces in the Ghanaian entertainment industry, whose brand, passion, and
personality transcend the boundaries of TV and entertainment. She is also a
brand ambassador for the renowned bespoke British shoe brand, Jesu-Segun
London, a shoe brand that has been endorsed and worn by global celebrities like
Snoop Dogg, Chelsea Handler, DJ Duffey, Michael Blackson, and footballer
Stephen Appiah.
According
to PTV Media, Sumney, the face and brand ambassador for “SENAK HAIR
COLLECTION," the latest hair line collection from popular hair and
cosmetic brand First Choice Hair & Beauty, which was released in October
2019, clearly proved herself worthy of fighting for and ultimately landing the
role due to the driving elements behind her interpretation of roles after
reading for the producer and director in Lagos, Nigeria, resulting in a
competitive situation among other preferred actresses vying to land the new
project.

The Riverside University trained
nurse who has featured in two Netflix movies, a movie on Amazon Prime and

House Media Production announced in a press conference in Lagos, Nigeria, that Lost in Africa, which was already
gathering buzz prior to its announcement, would begin production in March 2023.
The narrative will travel for filming from contemporary Nigeria, Ghana, to
South Africa, with director Eazzy Ologe calling the shots.
Lost In
Africa is a "dramatic mystery" story that will expose cinema lovers
in a journey for what truth and facts actually mean, and how personal
relationships can sometimes be hidden in deceptions. It will advance Haillie
Sumney's acting career, as it will be told in four distinct series, each
sliding into a different genre. Eazzy Ologe, the director and executive
producer, is on the hunt for the rest of the cast and frantically putting
together everything he can to make it work.

in order to land leading roles in films and is constantly getting scripts to
read."
The
Ghana Goddess veered into the entertainment industry in 2016 as a presenter for
4Syte TV, a prominent urban TV station in Ghana, armed with a nursing degree.
She hosted a couple of high-profile events in December 2016, including the
Ghana Movie Awards with comedian DKB and the MTN 4Syte TV Awards. On May 20,
2017, Hailley hosted the inaugural Ghana Entertainment Awards in New York with
dancehall crooner Samini. In 2019, she was selected to host the 4Syte TV BET
Awards red carpet. In December 2020, Haillie Sumney, Salima Mumn, and BBA
Elikem Kumordzie were selected to host the Golden Movie Awards at the Fantasy
Dome in Accra, Ghana.

also made her acting debut in 2017 in the drama genre film "Heels and
Sneakers," produced by Yvonne Nelson and directed by Maxwell Akwesi,
starring John Dumelo, Regina Van Helvert, and Doris Sackitey. Her popularity
and career have grown immensely since that time.
In
2017, she landed a leading role in “A Way Back Home," "Desperate
Survivors," "Track of My Fear," and the Mike Ezuruonye-produced
film, "Lagos Real Fake Life," and ever since, she hasn't looked back.
In 2018, she produced a short film titled “Shattered” and went all out to star
in 2019 with “2 Days After Friday and Smokescreen." She gave it her all as
a leading lady in Eden, A Woman’s Scorn, Trapped, Soft Work (2020), Ghana
Jollof (2021) and Co Habits (2022).
